"The Life and Times of Mark Twain"
is a one man presentation at Mark Twain Cave. This live presentation
conveys the spirit, wit, and fun-loving nature of the man that came to
be known as "The Wild Humorist of The West". The performance is
approximately one hour of fact and fantasy taken directly from the
author's speeches and writings. It presents a rich and colorful account
of nineteenth century life as America emerged from a rollicking
frontier.

Waddell brings over 30 years of professional experience to bear in his
portrayal of the celebrated writer. His credits as Mark Twain

Toronto, and the Transworld Dome in St. Louis. He has also performed

Riverboats, as well as radio and television.

inspirations that led to "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer". Nineteenth
century culture, the development of steam as a power source, and the
importance of river commerce to our fledgling nation are also included
