We welcome all school tours to Mark Twain Cave!
We believe our tours of Mark Twain Cave are fun for the student as well as an educational journey especially after studying the literature of Mark Twain.

To enhance your student’s adventure to Mark Twain Cave, we offer three study guides for your class prior to your trip to Mark Twain Cave.  (You’ll find the Study Guides in the left margin)

Your students will enjoy a one hour adventure in Mark Twain Cave.  Prior to your tour, you’ll enjoy a 7 minute video covering cave formation and what inspired the writings of Mark Twain.  You can expect your tours to be on time and led by an expert tour guide through the cave made famous by Mark Twain.

Cameron Cave will be closed June 5th-13th the summer of 2017


Things to remember for your adventure:

1. No steps
2. 52 degrees year round
3. Flat walking surface
4. A jacket or sweater is recommended
5. Sensible walking shoes are recommended
6. No back packs are allowed on the tour
7. No food or beverages are allowed in the cave

Cameron Cave Flashlight/Lantern Tour: [Allow 1 hour 30 min.]. Open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Beginning August 15, weekdays we will have only one tour a day at 2:30pm. Saturday's tours will be offered at 10am, Noon, 1:30pm, 3pm, and 4:30pm. No Cameron Cave tours will be offered on Sunday's.

If your class would like to sluice for gemstones at Sticks, Stones and Bones, we offer a special rate for school groups.   A bag of sluice mix that regularly sells for $6.95 will be only $5.50 for your group.
